just saying hi

Hello all and Happy Fall.

I first must apologize that I do not post on here much any more.

Since I got a smart phone over a year ago, and take all my pics on it, and do not know how to get them from my phone to my computer to put on my blog.
I did learn how to put them straight to FB so I post mostly there.

Do hope you will come see me there.....

Hoping all my followers here are doing well, and blessed by all who visit.

Blessings

A Little Update

Hello all. Long time no see.

I can explain.  I got a new phone/camera in May, and it has taken me this long to figure out how to load pics to my computer so I could post them on here. (And it was not a fun thing to see.)

Now for these sweet creatures.
We went on a week of vacation the week before Christmas
and these deer came closer and closer as I was taking pics from our little patio area.

I had my sweet fella run get some bread, and he took pics while they ate out of my hand.
It was so so fun!
Last pic kind of dark, but maybe you can see, there were 7 of them there all together. Only two ate out of my hands as one little deer chased others away, even pushed them with his hoof if they came close to eat.

This, and shopping, were the highlights of my vacation, that and hanging out with my guy for a week.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, and that 2016 is filled with His peace, joy, and comfort.

Blessings all
Barb
PS I put a lot of pic on FB if you want to go there to check things out.
Will try to post here more often.

Automobile Treasures

I have been drawn to Automobile parts for the past few months.

even got an old Ford Dash board, with 2 dials still on it!

cool huh?

I have sold several old headlights, horns, wheels,
and any other car gadget I can find.

and now......

I got a WHOLE CAR!!!
a Ford Model "N" I was told.
marketed 1906-08.
And I love it. Love "her".
Now to think of a name.
Any suggestions??

Thanks for visiting.

School Bus Finds

We were pickin' a place out in the country,
and the fella told me where some items were
"out by the bus". What bus I said?
"The one in the blackberries over there."
So sure enough, other side of the blackberries was an old school bus.

And yes, school buses are yellow,
but inside they are my fave yummy green.
My sweet fella worked 4 hours to get these parts out.
The small panels in the first two pics.

And the dashboard!
look at all the fun gauges
.
and the perfectly chippy rusty green paint.

and he even got the emergency door off!! yummy green inside,
and school bus yellow on the outside.

and here is the seat and base it goes on,
complete with the slider part for moving forward and back.
and look what great shape it is in.

Now to figure out prices for all of it.

Thanks for visiting.
Be blessed

1960's? Haiwatha Bicycle

 SO FUN!!
Bike one:
I got these two old bicycles from a gal at a sale.
All the rust, and bright colors just spoke to my heart.

Love the shape of this chain guard.

and look at this old baby carrier on the back.
(I guess I should not say 'old' since we had one
similar to it on the back of my bike in the 60's)

and, call me crazy, but I love rust.
so this seat is wonderful to me.

Bike two:
This is the Hiawatha girls bike we got.
perfectly chippy rusty white.

And on this side bright blue and red chain guard.
Not sure why it is in such great shape.
Maybe covered more than the rest of the bike.
cannot fine any other info except the Hiawatha name to research it further.
Hoping one of you readers may know. =)

and, rusty seat, again. just love it.
and a fun 'seat' or 'rack' ? on the back.

Thanks for visiting.
If you have any info on either of these please let me know.
Would love to know what year they were, 50's, 60's?
and if they would be worth anything fixed up.

BOTH BIKES SOLD.

be blessed all.
